Martial Artists

As a martial artist, you know the threats facing not only your students, but also the community. Once you know the threats, you can teach the proper responses to those threats.

According to the NCMEC (National Center for the Missing and Exploited Children) one out of every five girls and one out of every 10 boys will be sexually abused before they reach the age of eighteen. This year, there will approximately 58,000 non-family abductions, half of those involving sexual abuse.

According to the American Justice Department, 25% of our children are being bullied, and this year 282,000 children will be physically bullied in secondary schools this month.

What could be more important than teaching a child how to respond to an unwanted touch or a luring attempt and can you imagine what a child must feel like going to school everyday knowing they are going to be bullied? I truly believe that martial artists are uniquely qualified to teach this exciting, interactive program.

Without question, children will benefit from the safetyNETkids program. It will increase their confidence and give them exact responses to real threats. In our martial arts classes, we teach kids to use body posture, tone, and volume of their voices to display confidence. It is this confidence that will reduce a child’s risk of being abducted, being sexually abused or being bullied. A martial arts child is likely to be a safer child. As a martial artist teaching this program, you will quickly learn that this program will bridge the gap between you and your community and give you the opportunity to teach the public all the positive benefits of your martial arts program.

safetyNETkids will allow you to keep kids safe and educate the public on what martial arts can do for children and adults.

Currently, our national safetyNETkids Instructors are teaching the Child Safety, Bullying Program, Confidence Program and Internet Safety Program in schools, churches, daycares, Scouts, clubs and other youth organizations.

You can create a positive image and raise awareness for your school by getting the press involved in promoting your Safety Days.  The specifics of promoting and providing a successful Safety Day are in the curriculum package and discussed in the included Instructor’s Guide video.

Our comprehensive curriculum package makes teaching this program extremely easy. Please look over the curriculum package and order today.  View Curriculum Package
